Robert "Bob" Campbell was born in a log cabin to a bold mother and beautiful father. At age three days he began writing on the back of a coal shovel with a piece of flint, and by six weeks old he was running the family farm.
Eventually he bored of rural life and made his way to the big city, where he single handedly built Broadway, the Sears Tower, and Donald Trump. But he ached to hear the noise of the countryside again, so he joined the Air Force.
After doing one tour of duty in Vietnam, he returned home and decided to marry the sweetest woman he'd ever met. Luckily she wasn't available, so he married a rapscallion of a woman named Diane, a social worker with an odd affinity for groundhogs. It was the best thing he ever did.
Bob now works for the Veterans' Administration as a counselor. After raising two sons, one horse and a couple of microwave-climbing Basset Hounds, they're glad to say someone else is raising their grandson. They are owned by two cats who have seven legs between them.
Bob is also a poet and the author of Alang Alang, a novel about human trafficking in the Phillipenes during the Vietnam war. He's currently working on his next novel.
